Tag der offenen Tür 2008 - 2008 open day

On 16 August, Holmesglen opened its doors to showcase a day of promoting a variety of course offerings across the Institute’s three campuses. The event assisted in raising the Institute’s profile and has brought prospective students, families and friends together to celebrate and endorse Holmesglen’s educational excel-
lence. Our once a year Open Day allowed prospective students to interact with staff members and engage with the Institute’s facilities. Visitors were also encouraged to “try-a-trade” in bricklaying and tiling if they weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

The Waverley Campus also stunned visitors with their cake decorating presentations and their $4 sale of Devonshire teas. Thirty minutes away from the Waverley Campus, Cilantro at Moorabbin sold coffee and cakes by the hundreds and its gourmet BBQ proved to be ever so popular. The Institute’s Open Day proved
to be a success as we saw an increase in attendance numbers comparative to last years event. We hope to see more people in 2009.
